Neufchâtel-en-Bray is a small town 45 kilometres north-east of Rouen and 35 kilometres south-east of Dieppe. The Amiens-Le-Havre road and Abbeville-Rouen road pass through the town, which is on the Paris-Dieppe railway. The Communal Cemetery is on the north-side of the town. The Military plot is near the south-east wall of the northern section of the Cemetery.

Private Leslie Stubbington also lost two brothers in the War. James died on 12th July 1944, aged 33 and is buried in Arezzo War Cemetery in Italy and Tom died on 23rd July 1941, aged 37 and is commemorated on the Portsmouth Naval Memorial in England
